It has been my turn.
I started running fever Wednesday night.
The first 24 hours were the worst.
It's no walk in the park right now either.
But some of the pain has subsided and I'm thankful for that.
So, right now, I'm on a Tylenol High... which means I can sit up for short periods of time without my head exploding. But just until the Tylenol begins to wear off... which is about an hour before I can take more. I could be so much sicker than I am... or I could still feel as badly as I did yesterday... so, I'm thankful.
Before my high wears off, I wanted to share...
Thursday morning, when Zman got up, he came in the room to see why I was still in bed. I told him there was good news and bad news.
The bad news: mommy is sick.
The good news: no school because mommy is sick.
Cheers.
Shouts of joy.
Quiet reflection.
A few minutes later, Hgirl says enthusiastically, "Zman, lets go play!"
Zman, with a Christmas-morning smile, replies, "Hgirl, we don't have to play. We can watch TV!!!"

Keep your disease
On your side of town.
too funny! hope you have been better still today!
Poor darlin'.....beg V to let you sleep, sleep, sleep. It is the best medicine. If the sun is shining, maybe sit in it for a while just to soak in the good stuff. But sleep, friend!
