I remember when... I walked with a shake and sizzle instead of a waddle and sway.
I remember when... turning over in bed did not feel like a wrestling match with an alligator.
I remember when... getting the kids to Cubbies and Sparks and getting myself upstairs to Bible Study on Sunday evenings did not feel like a Triathlon.
I remember when... I ran around the neighborhood instead of dreaming about running around the neighborhood.
I remember when... I didn't know what heartburn was.
I remember when... I could see the bones in my ankles.
I remember when... I could laugh, cough, or sneeze without needing feminine protection.
I remember when... things that weren't supposed to touch, didn't.
(You know, my inner thighs, my boobs to my belly, the back of my arms and my back).
I remember when... I could watch a sit-com and not need to go to the bathroom for the entire length of the show.
I remember when... sitting, standing, laying down, breathing, existing... didn't hurt.
I remember when... I could see the number on the scale without having to step off the scale to see it.
I remember when... I didn't shudder in horror at the number on the scale.
I remember when... I could bend or squat to get something off the floor and not have a fear that I might not be able to get back up.
I remember when... my belly button was an inny instead of an inside-outy.
I remember when... I didn't have fleeting feelings of little feet tap dancing on my bladder.
I remember when... my belly did not automatically turn up the volume on my lap top and did not automatically catch all the food that missed my mouth.
I remember when... Three more months did NOT feel like an eternity!
But most importantly... I'll never forget the blessing of assisting God in the creation of life.

I still can't get over the fact that we are "done" with the baby stuff. I still think there has got to be a baby out there for us (preferably wearing PINK) but Joe says no. I don't miss the pregnant part, except feeling that flutter inside.
Cece
I agree - the flutters are so incredible. THe jabs and kicks....not so much!
You look wonderful!
