It must be true.

We've been talking a lot about consequences around here lately.

I have been reminding my children (several times a day) that every action has a consequence. Some actions bring about good consequences and some actions bring about bad consequences. And every action affects more than just them.


These words,

no matter how often they are repeated,

seem to flow

effortlessly

in one ear

and out the other.

Until now.


Today, a commercial about going green or saving the planet or something like that said...

"Every action has a consequence."

Zman's eyes popped out of his head and his neck almost snapped at the speed with which he turned to look at me.


They said it on TV.

It must be true.
