Baby News...

Went to the doctor today for a check up.

Surprise for Doc and me...

Doc says "unnamed baby" Faith has dropped!

I am 30 weeks and have been measuring right on target all along. Today I measured at 31 weeks.

I have also been swelling worse and it is not going down over night.

What does it all mean???

Doc says...

Probably nothing.

The baby dropping is probably the reason my body can't drain the fluid in my lower body.

With it being baby #3, everything just moves into place a little easier. No cause for concern and not a predictor of preterm labor.

Everything I've read says usually labor begins within 4 weeks of the baby dropping. Not in my history and Doc says not to worry.

Good news is that she is head down. Better news... she says MAYBE a week earlier. Vince's birthday (5/17) would be nice!!! (Of course, until it happens, no one knows anything for sure!)

Although Doc says it really isn't a predictor of anything, it sure put a pep in my step. Maybe forever isn't as far away as I thought!
