Then it was a trick.
Now, it is just a really, really BAD habit!
About 2 weeks ago, Sweet Pea flipped herself over during one of her naps.
She was barely 3 months old and quite concerned about what had really just happened.
Last week, she began doing it at the end of naps and found herself over joyed and filled with pride at her occasional accomplishment.
Now, today, she can't even finish a nap because she can't wait to see the world from that new and different perspective!
But since she isn't finishing naps due to her new fluke/trick/habit, she is not concerned, or over joyed, or full of pride.
As a matter of fact, she is down right cranky.
I keep trying to explain to her that if she would just sleep instead of flip, things would be better for EVERYONE... and I do mean everyone.
Alas, I'm seeing signs of what is to come.
She must learn the hard way.
And we all suffer during the process.
Ever tried reasoning with a 3 month old???
We have some work to do.
If you need me, I'll be trying to teach Sweet Pea how to flip
BACK OVER!!!
