New Beginnings...

A new year, a new hobby, a new life.

Most of you know I've been sick... really sick... for what seems like forever!!! In that time, I found a new hobby... blog surfing! I've been inspired and decided to join the fun. Until now, I have purposefully stayed away from all blogs for fear of... ADDICTION! I didn't want to begin spending too much time on my computer and have God come along and convict me and ask me give it up. (He has a tendancy to keep me in check that way, darn it!) Anyway, I've been so sick while assisting Him in creating this new life in me, I figured all bets were off and I got online! So, my new hobby in this new year... blogs and blogging!

Through this blog, I hope to inspire, document, share, entertain, and connect with you. I'll try not to bore (no promises) and I'll use the same rules as I use with my kids... "If it is not kind or encouraging, it needs not to be said." (Eph. 4:29 paraphrased in my best mommy voice)

As for this new life... the one inside me continues to grow both bigger and stronger every day. She is actually strong enough to wake me with her morning workouts. (That-a-girl... just like her momma, already!) And I feel like I have a new life as well since I'm feeling better and stronger every day. I'm actually able to cook for my family again and clean here and there. We are ALL happy about that!

So, this new year is already filled with lots of NEW. New hobbies, new life, new beginnings, and new experiences. I can't wait to share them all with you! Check back and see what happens next! ;)
