New and Not So New...

I have tried a few things lately that have been quite a revelation for me and I thought I would share...

Since Sweet Pea and her reflux, I have been limited as to what I can eat.

I CAN'T have dairy, tomatoes, cranberry juice, and caffeine.

Trust me when I say, this does not leave much.

For lunches, I have turned to salads.

I don't enjoy salads.

Salads are for dieting...

which is probably why I don't enjoy salads.

The only thing about salads I enjoy are

cheese

(dairy)

ranch dressing

(dairy)

and

tomatoes.

I can eat salad with Italian dressing if I have

cheese.

The only other dressing I like is Thousand Island which also has dairy.

You see my dilemma.

I found Kraft Light Raspberry Vinaigerette Dressing at the grocery store last time I was there and thought I would give it a try.

YUM! Two thumbs up!

I also tried it on Wendy's new BLT Salad.

(Minus the "T", of course.)

That was okay as salads go. It was made with iceberg lettuce and if I'm going to have a salad, I'd like to get as much bang for my buck so I like some greenery that actually has nutritional value. Iceberg was a half-thumb deduction. The chicken was also breaded so a plus for taste, another half-thumb deduction for nutritional value.

Moving on.

We are all clear on the fact that I have flooring issues.

While discussing some of those issues with my friend, Myrna, she recommended this:

She said she loved hers so much, she has two so that while one is charging she still has one she can use.

This sent me directly to my local Walmart.

love, Love, LOVE this thing!

LOVE IT!

Worth every penny!

Go.

Get one.

Now!

Not so new item.

New use.

Vaseline.

Yep, you read it right.

Vaseline.

Prevents diaper rash and irritation.

Duh.

The only thing I have ever used it for was thermometers.

Now I use it at every diaper change

and oh, so inexpensive!!!

Why am I just now figuring this out with baby #3???

Let me know if you try any of these "new to me" products and tell me what you think! And those of you with diapers in your lives, I hope you already knew about that nifty product and its varied uses. If not, benefit from my revelation. ;-)
