Summer Dance Camp

FINALLY... I managed to get the videos downloaded of Hgirl's fun activities last week.

It literally took days...

and only some of it was my steep learning curve...

the rest was turtle internet speed.

ANYWAY...

Hgirl had a busy week as she attended her first dance camp.

The camp ended on Thursday with a recital.

She took to it much better than I had anticipated.

We especially like the hip hop dance.

I took some video with my new camera that I still need tutorials on...

Very "raw" footage...

With Sweet Pea in one hand and the camera in the other.

I took the first video with my camera and half way through the batteries ran out.

I grabbed my actual video camera just in time for the second dance...

Half way through the tape ran out.

I was able to change the batteries in my (picture) camera and catch the last half of the third dance and all of the forth.

It was just one of those days.

I learned some stuff too...

I discovered I could take still pics while taking video.

When I watched the video, I discovered taking pics while in video mode pauses video.

There's that learning curve again...

The videos are still cute... just documentation of my learning the ins and outs of my new camera.
