Are you hungry???

Okay, friends. I linked over to another blog via Nicole's post about the 2 week challenge. The author's name (and I say author because this girl WRITES!.... and VERY WELL, I might add!) is Heather Hendrick and she attends Living Hope in C.S. She is a godly woman who knows the Word and speaks it in a no-bones-about-it way but manages to do so in love. (Something I admire since I have yet to master the "speak Truth in love" concept, myself. I'm all about speaking the truth... I just tend to be a little short on the "in love" part.) She has obviously been at this blogging thing for a while and uses it to minister to her readers. She also uses it to encourage, convict, rebuke, and plain ol' WAKE UP the sleepy, comfortable Christian. I feel like I have been to a small group Bible Study (and you know how refreshing, energizing, convicting, thought provoking, and draining that can be...) after reading almost every post. It doesn't stop there. Her readers are also godly folks dripping in Truth. The Truth, insight, and encouragement that can be found in both the posts as well as the comments is a full course meal.

This is her family blog that I have been being fed by this week.

She also has a book/Bible study that she has never had published but has it contained in a separate blog as well as a few other blogs dedicated to various topics. (All of these are linked from her family blog.)

When I say she writes, I really mean SHE WRITES!!! It will take days upon days upon days to get to it all... but from what I have seen so far, will be worth my (and hopefully your) time.

If you haven't seen her blog or maybe have seen it but haven't been back in a while, let me encourage you to check it out... especially right now. This entire week has been devoted to shedding GOD'S Light on the Church of Oprah. Seriously good stuff.

I don't know Heather but hope to have the blessing of our paths crossing at some point in this not-so-big town of ours called Aggieland. Until then, I am enjoying participating in what is turning out to be somewhat of a cyberspace church/Bible study. Hope you guys will join me!

Yes, I 'know' Heather too! We've met through mutual people that we each know b/c of adoption. She and her husband are waiting to adopt, on top of their 3 bio kids!
She definately can write and her messages are very full and very inspirational. I am hoping to meet her personally soon through our web of local adoptive families. Living as close as I do to LH, I've thought about popping over and just introducing myself!
